Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AI/ML Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise, guide development teams, and drive performance, scalability and reliability improvements across AI/ML systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end architecture of scalable AI/ML solutions tailored to business goals.
Mentor data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers on modeling best practices and guide technical implementation across AI/ML projects.
Conduct regular performance review of AI/ML models and systems to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
Define solution architecture patterns, reference frameworks, and best practices to guide scalable, compliant AI/ML systems enterprise‑wide.
Oversee design of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model serving architecture to ensure robustness and operational readiness.
Develop and maintain a Quarterly Tech Debt Roadmap for AI/ML systems to ensure continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data analysts, and IT for seamless AI/ML integration and to negotiate for the best possible solution.
Continuously evaluate and introduce emerging AI/ML technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Enable the team to file patents and publish papers in noted journals/conferences.
Qualifications: Education & Experience:
Master’s/Doctorate in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
8+ years of experience in ML/AI with at least 2+ years in Architect role.
Progressive experience in AI/ML roles, ideally beginning as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
Track record of continuous professional development via certifications, patents, publications or conference participation.
Technical Expertise:
Expertise in AI/ML algorithms across structured (e.g., tabular) and unstructured (text, image, audio) data.
Hands-on with ML models including traditional ML algorithms, CNNs, RNNs, GANs, GNNs, Transformers, LLMs and Agentic AI.
Expertise in state-of-the-art techniques such as embeddings, supervised fine-tuning (SFT), zero/few-shot learning, NER, RAG, and multi-agent systems.Strong Python engineering skills with modular, maintainable code.
Experience designing scalable ML pipelines and architectures.
Domain specific capabilities:
Understanding of data privacy, model explainability and compliance (e.g., GDPR, model auditability).
Familiarity with responsible AI principles, bias mitigation, ethical and secure deployment of ML models.
Leadership & Business Impact:
Strong problem solving, communication and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into ML system designs that deliver measurable impact (e.g., revenue, cost savings, customer experience).
Experience leading cross-functional teams in delivering large-scale AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
Tools & Platforms: Proficient in MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, TFX, SageMaker) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), coupled with an AI-first development approach using tools like GitHub Copilot or LangChain.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
