Job Responsibilities:
The Site Director is responsible for hiring and supervising program staff, maintaining all licensing standards, managing aspects of a budget including ordering required supplies, and communicate with parents and school staff to foster positive relationships with our communities among other responsibilities.
The Site Director, Youth Development oversees the operation of before and after school programming as an employee of the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette and participates in financial development, staff development, philanthropic development and program development.
Required Qualifications:
- Pass a YMCA Background Check
- At least 240 hours of qualifying experience working with school-age children in the last five years, an associate degree or higher in a related field, or a Step 6 or higher on the Oregon Registry.
- Meet all Program Coordinator standards as dictated by the Department of Early Learning and Care.
- 1 year of experience supervising adults.
- Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- At least 21 years of age
