The Project Manager is a key position within the Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects while ensuring the projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. The Project Manager curates each customer experience from discovery to final invoicing and is the projects main point of contact. The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of the project plan and scheduling on-site details. This position collaborates with internal and external customers to coordinate and deliver services to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for project plan and scheduling on-site details once the projects secured.
- Manages internal and external resources tracking progress within the project.
- Responsible for compiling project documentation and tracking project metrics using project management best practices.
- Responsible for defining key milestones (Stage Gates) for the project and communicating such to the team and customer.
- Communicating the ongoing project coordination with external resources to ensure good communication and if needed modify the project plan to meet deadlines.
- Provide regular project status reports to management.
- Work with the Service Engagement Manager to identify resources needed for a given project.
- Ensures operational compliance with the contracts, agreements, scope of work and that OMRON fulfills its obligations with consideration to time, cost and quality and support post project lesson learned activities.
- Advocate for corrective actions by identifying critical path issues that are a road block to success.
- Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks and resource allocation.
- Based on project scope and existing partner experience, select the best partner to have the best chance of success delivering the project on budget with maximum customer satisfaction.
- Participate in periodic status and risk discussions with customers.
- Conduct rigorous post mortem analysis with internal team.
- Represents the Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, distributors, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field.
- Five years of relevant professional experience.
- Travel up to 50% (domestic and international), including occasional short-notice travel to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Project management certification a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and resource planning skills.
- Strengths in customer service and quality control.
- Proven relationship management and interpersonal business development experience.
- Excellent communication, listening, and questioning skills; outstanding interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on high-quality results and the bigger picture.
- Able to multitask, adapt quickly, and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a self-managed, driven mindset; thrives independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in business systems for skill-based resource deployment.
- Energetic, focused, and committed to delivering results.
The pay Range for this role is $96,000 - $122,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
