Qualifications:
- Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences or related field.
- Education Preferred: Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience Required: 1 year of related experience.
- Experience Preferred: 1 year of supervisory experience and familiarity with foster care and adoption systems.
- A valid driver’s license in good standing and a vehicle with appropriate auto insurance are required. Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.
Position Specifics
- Position Hours: Monday-Friday with some nights and weekends.
- Full-time Salaried exempt position estimated at $57,400.00/year.
- Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Position Details
The Supervisor of Foster & Adoption will lead and manage the Recruitment, Retention, Training, and Support (RRTS) of resources model for the Eastern Iowa service area. This position oversees the work of Caseworkers in the Foster and Adoption program and daily operations related to licensing and supporting Resource Families. The Supervisor to Caseworker ratio is 1:9 as outlined in the contract. This position also has responsibilities in governance, leadership, community relations, program and financial management, and personnel development. This position must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance and be available to participate in the 24-hour on-call Supervisor rotation. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
