Pitt Community College is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support the Customized Training Program (CTP) within the Business and Workforce Solutions division. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and is committed to helping both students and local industry partners succeed.

Position Duties

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, instructors, and industry partners seeking information about CTP and Business and Workforce Solutions
  • Provide general and specialized administrative support to the Director and departmental staff
  • Accurately enter registration, billing, and student data into college systems
  • Prepare and process third-party invoices, payments, contracts, and payroll documentation
  • Maintain class files, attendance sheets, rosters, and evaluations in accordance with college and state standards
  • Assist with the design and maintenance of forms, promotional materials, and course materials
  • Support instructors with contract processing, materials distribution, and compliance communication
  • Organize office operations including mail processing, scheduling, recordkeeping, and correspondence
  • Participate in workshops and staff development activities as needed

Other Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree in business or related field required
  • Three to five years of administrative experience, preferably in education or workforce development
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in office technologies and software, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
  • Knowledge of registration, billing, and documentation procedures preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, professionalism, and team collaboration
