If you've been unknowingly training your whole life for a role where precision, planning, and problem-solving meet head-on… your next level is here.
We’re looking for a Maintenance Planner who thrives on order, thinks five moves ahead, believes every piece (or part) has a place, and has the technical skills and abilities to support as well . At Dieffenbach’s Snacks, our Maintenance team is the heart of our operation, and we need a player who can keep the beat going strong.
What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Mission):

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to plan and schedule repairs and preventive maintenance like a pro-level strategist.

  • Build weekly maintenance schedules that actually work and keep the team in sync.

  • Plan for equipment shutdowns like you're defusing a time bomb... with calm, cool confidence.

  • Track downtime, parts, and performance using systems like QuickBase and Excel (don’t worry, no cheat codes required).

  • Coordinate parts orders, verify shipments, and keep our inventory system tighter than your Tetris high score.

  • Keep the parts room so organized it makes Marie Kondo weep with joy.

  • Jump in to support the team as needed, because we’re all in this game together.

What You’ll Need to Bring to the Console:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (bonus points if you’re inventory/project planning software fluent)

  • Maintenance planning or inventory experience (food manufacturing is a win!)

  • Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (our love language is conditional formatting)

  • A detail-oriented brain and a self-starter mindset

  • Industrial Maintenance Technician experience/training is a strong plus.  

  • A commitment to workplace safety (because game over isn’t an option here)

Physical + Mental Requirements (We keep it real):
This role is as much brain as it is body. You’ll be walking, talking, standing, organizing, and solving like a legend. Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. Reasoning, remembering, and collaborating continuously. If you like your workday with variety and purpose, you’ll thrive here.
