About the job

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect who has faced and overcome different challenges in the past. Get your say on the way forward for an 800 people company.

With an understanding of and interest in infrastructure, software delivery processes, programming languages and frameworks (especially Java / Spring), different tools and architectures, strong hands-on experience, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, you can take the right steps at different clients and in possibly unfamiliar situations.

You do not have to be the expert at everything yourself - we have quite some of these - but you need to be able to take the right steps for any given situation.

Your daily tasks will include

  • developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategies with a focus on Java technologies
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable and sustainable solutions
  • providing technical leadership and guidance on best practices for software development processes, infrastructure and application architecture, and preferably Java application development
  • knowing a good set of tools and emerging technologies and use the right things for the job at hand
  • collaborating and communicating with the customer along each step of the way
  • aligning IT strategy with business goals, ensuring a high level of integration and standardization

The following will make you succeed in this role

  • ideally a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • extensive hands-on experience with Java, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
  • proven track record in enterprise architecture, demonstrating a pragmatic and strategic mindset
  • strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • fluency in both German and English

Austria: The law stipulates that the minimum wage must be specified in job postings. The minimum salary is €60.900 gross/year in the collective agreement. Adequate to your skills, we are willing to pay much more.
