PureView Health Center has a career opportunity for a 35 hour a week Pharmacist. This opportunity, located in Helena, Montana is within the Pharmacy department and reports to Pharmacy Director.

The Opportunity
Responsibilities of this career opportunity includes Providing pharmacy services to patients; preparing and dispensing pharmaceuticals; providing direct supervision of the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals by the pharmacy technicians and/or pharmacy students; preparing deliveries and following courier service tracking procedures; ordering and checking in pharmaceuticals and controlled substances; assisting patients at the front counter and register; monitoring and assisting in managing both 340B and retail pharmacy inventories; making appropriate drug recommendations and evaluating prescribing history, suggesting alternative therapies based on formulary constraints; maintaining compliance with pharmacy law, procedures and licensure requirements with State of Montana; processing and assisting in managing various grant programs for patient; documenting medication-related information in the electronic health record; precepting Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) students; carrying out ongoing pharmacy quality assurance activities and participating in agency quality assurance activities; responding to pharmacy related questions and providing drug information upon request; performing prospective drug utilization reviews; offering counseling and patient education on medications dispensed and all new medications; performing other duties as assigned .

This career opportunity requires:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy is required; PharmD preferred.
- One (1) year of pharmacy experience required.
- Preceptor designation by State of Montana preferred.
