Description

The Family Coaches are the most valuable resource in this program!

This is a part time position in Horry County, SC, working up to 5.5 hours per week during the 11 week cycle.  We are looking to currently hire up to 6 Family Coaches for this location.

Their training and the coaching they provide to both the children and parents is what will make or break the program.

They should be selected, trained, supervised and supported carefully.

They must find a balance between the needs of individuals and the needs of the group as a whole, between the problems of the children and those of the parents, but most importantly a balance between responding to the group and teaching a skill.

They must be sensitive to the feelings of the families and still maintain order and a sense of responsibility for imparting the skills of the program.

Family Coaches prepare before each weekly class by:

1) Reading the entire lesson,

2) Looking at the PowerPoints and video clips inserted in the PPT slides

3) Learning the Musical Jingles that go with each lesson

4)Discussing implementation and dividing the lesson delivery with their co-Coach.
