To apply for this position you must be a current Alvord USD student teacher. The master teacher must submit an email to HR to have you processed as a Substitute Teacher. HR will email you a code once your master teacher submits their request.

Alvord Unified substitute teaching requirements:
*30 Day Emergency Permit or California Teaching Credential (please attach detailed screenshot from CTC showing credential number) - If you do not have a permit at the time of submitting your application, the district can apply for you
*Please attach transcripts indicating Bachelors Degree from an Accredited Institution (conferral date must be listed)
*Please attach transcripts from all institutions including community college if you are requesting a 30 Day Permit recommendation.
*Passing CBEST Scores (please attach a copy to application); please attach request to apply for permit through coursework if you have not taken/passed the CBEST.
*Sealed Official Transcripts at the time of hire (attach unofficial transcripts on edjoin)

Salary Info
$215/day, $250/long term after the 15th consecutive day of assignment

You must hold a bachelors degree or higher to apply and it must be posted on your transcripts. (conferral date must be listed) Please attach transcripts for all educational institutions if you are requesting a 30 day permit recommendation.
