Job Summary
Under the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general supervision of teacher and/or other certificated employee, provides instructional/behavioral support to students, in general education and special education programs, in accomplishing learning objectives. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications

- Proof of AA or BA Degree from a regionally accredited college, 48 Semester units
OR Certificate showing successful completion of a basic Paraprofessional proficiency test.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or equivalent and 48 college units or Associate of Arts degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in schools or experience working with school age children, 3-6 years of age.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INSIDE CANDIDATES.
Salary Info
Range 12, ($19.84 - $27.66 per hour). Inside candidates who are promoted to a higher range may receive a 2 1/2% to 5% increase in their current hourly rate of pay.

If selected for this position, you will be required to provide proof of completion of high school or equivalent program.

Available work shift: Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. (1/2 hour lunch)
