The screen print inspector will ensure all merchandise has the correct label according to the different leagues such as MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, etc. Athletes working in this department will press heat seals via a pneumatic machine or install woven labels via a sewing machine.
- Adjust machine speed, alignments, temperature, ink flow and pressure tolerances
- Registration to ensure optimal print clarity, color accuracy and adherence to specifications of products
- Use hand tools, hand-wheels and knobs to adjust controls, pressure rolls and machine parts
- Re position printing plates in efforts to improve print quality
- Measure, adjust and spread proper color and viscosity of inks and color compounds into reservoirs, troughs, hoppers and color holders
- Assist in reviewing job orders to produce appropriate quantity, stock specifications, color, color sequences of materials in the proper time frame
- Quality check products, services and processes
- Clean, lubricate and perform preventive maintenance on printing machines sand components
- Monitor gauges, dials and indicators for proper machine performance
