Student Worker – Event Ambassador

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
Event ambassadors are trained tour guides in the admissions office.
They work firsthand with prospective students and their families and share the facts and stories of OWU while maintaining great customer service.
They will work when we host group visits, Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, and other special events. They will not have scheduled office shifts.
However, there is an opportunity to advance into having scheduled office shifts.
In addition to being a tour guide they will assist as needed with the event, by serving on various panels, helping with check-in, directing guests, and more.
Event Ambassadors' primary role will be assisting with various special events. However, they will also serve as auxiliary ambassadors for daily visits and may be invited to fill in on an "as needed" basis."
This job will require weekend work. This job pays an hourly rate of $10.70.
