About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Abstractor to join our team at Oregon Advanced Imaging LLC, Medford Oregon. This is not a remote job but only at the worksite. As a Medical Records Abstractor, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Your primary job function is to push and receive images of patients prior to imaging for comparisons done by the Radiologist. You will work closely with healthcare providers and other medical professionals to ensure that all necessary information is properly documented and recorded. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be critical to the success of our team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience in medical records abstraction or related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and or other computer programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Work closely with healthcare providers and other medical professionals to ensure that all necessary information is properly documented and recorded
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information

Skills:
