We are looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager who will establish the local indirect procurement function from scratch. Guided by the global indirect spend policy and local expense policies, the manager will play a pivotal role in reshaping the indirect spend in the assigned categories. The manager will report into Head of Opertions in N.A. with a dotted line to the Head of Global Indirect Procurement. This position will be onsite in SLC, Utah.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively runs cost efficiency program and challenges the status quo
- Collaborates with internal teams to develop and implement strategies, and tactical and operational plans for the procurement of indirect goods and services
- Generates cost transparency based on invoice and contract data
- Consolidates/ further evolves vendor portfolio in the assigned categories
- Develops and implements local category strategies in alignment with global category managers
- Collaborates closely with the Legal department during contracting
- Actively contributes to the budget planning process
- Reviews and modifies local procurement processes and supports the implementation of SAP Ariba
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering preferred
- 5+ years in Supply Chain/Purchasing/ Indirect Procurement preferred
- Strong analytical and Excel modelling skills
- Experience in indirect sourcing of IT / FM / Marketing / Corporate Services categories
- Ability to work in fast fast-paced environment, actively prioritize and multitask
- Desire to learn and grow within the procurement function
- Knowledge of international / European commercial law is an advantage
