Manage accounting sub-ledgers and related reserves to ensure validity and proper valuation of recorded assets and liabilitiesLeverage accounting expertise to support new processes, tools and technology working cross-functionally to improve efficiency of operations, reducing operating expenses and streamlining end-to-end processesEffectively lead deployment of initiatives and manage changes with team and business partnersDrive improvements through automation, standardization and strategic planning to ensure efficiency and adaptability as the business grows. This includes streamlining processes, leveraging technology and developing a robust financial framework that can handle increased workloads without significant increases in resourcesEstablish and analyze financial and operational reports, providing actionable insight to leadershipInteract at all levels and with other stakeholders to produce timely and accurate month-end close, internal management and financial reportingIdentify and implement robust internal controls to ensure full compliance with Sarbanes-OxleyDevelop and monitor KPI’s for measuring progress towards organizational goalsMake compelling, concise and well-supported recommendations for changes as neededWork with Audit, Tax, Treasury, Legal and other accounting departments to ensure overall coordination of financial accounting activities and risks. Anticipate and recognize financial opportunities and exposures and escalate appropriately by explaining the underlying issues and proposed solutionsMaintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate resolution of discrepancies and pursuit of opportunitiesDevelop employees for broader responsibilities within team and across the organizationEvaluate financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities to improve profitabilityMaintain knowledge of industry trends, financial regulations, and best practicesProvide and seek 360 feedbackAssume additional responsibilities and assist with special projects as requestedWhat you need:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred7+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles with supervisory experience requiredStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of GAAP and accounting operations within a large ERPHighly proficient in financial software and Excel.
