Job Title: Extended Learning Programs Coordinator (Full-Time)
Location: GPS Office
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually
Position Overview:
GPS Solutions is seeking a qualified Extended Learning Programs Coordinator to lead and support the planning, implementation, and oversight of extended learning programs, including before-school, after-school, and summer school services. This full-time position involves supervising staff, delivering instructional support, managing program operations, and ensuring compliance with programmatic and funding requirements. This role requires travel to various school sites and strong collaboration with school teams, families, and GPS leadership.
Educational Requirements:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in education
Preferred:
Master’s degree in education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
Experience Requirements:
Required:
3–5 years of teaching and/or curriculum development experience
School leadership experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred:
Expertise in K–12 core content areas (ELA, Math, Science, etc.)
Experience supervising staff and managing performance
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students, staff, and families through instructional coaching, small group instruction, and workshops.
Help staff use data to implement research-based strategies that close achievement gaps.
Collaborate with GPS staff to develop aligned curriculum, assessments, and progress monitoring tools.
Deliver job-embedded professional development through modeling and coaching effective instructional strategies.
Create and update standard operating procedures for all extended learning programs.
Participate in team and leadership meetings and provide feedback to support staff development.
Conduct walkthroughs, evaluations, and coaching to improve instructional practices.
Support performance management, attendance tracking, and personnel matters in coordination with GPS leadership.
Supervise extended day and summer staff, providing onboarding, coaching, and performance monitoring.
Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement of tools, materials, and procedures.
Maintain strong presence across school sites to ensure program quality and consistency.
Demonstrate cultural responsiveness and uphold high expectations in diverse learning environments.
Align instruction to state standards and adapt delivery for both in-person and virtual formats.
Submit required reports, review compliance materials, and manage program logistics.
Coordinate staff absences, material orders, and program-related communications.
Lead family engagement efforts, including parent workshops, events, and feedback systems.
Actively participate in recruitment, onboarding, meetings, and long-term planning efforts.
