Hybrid Caregiver/Companion en CareBuilders at Home

**WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD CAREGIVERS BUT WE ARE IN IMMEDIATE NEED OF CAREGIVERS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

1. Bilingual, mature caregiver that speaks fluid Spanish, able to work every Mondays & Wednesdays from 11:30am to 4:30pm, and one or two weekend days a month in the Steel Creek area of Charlotte. No personal care is needed. The right candidate must have experience working with memory care clients or have been diagnosed with Dementia and/or Alzheimer's. 
2. Weekend caregiver to work Saturdays & Sundays 10:30am - 3:30pm in the Mint Hill area.  Typical home care services needed to include light personal care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, changing bed linens, help with organizing in the home, and tidying up.
• Documenting client/shift notes, and daily clocking in, clocking out and obtaining signatures as required by NC state and VA. 
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Qualifications:

• Caregiver experience required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Please note this is a requirement for this job
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must have proof of recent Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or be willing to undergo baseline TB testing and/or provide Hepatitis B vaccine declination.
