Summary/Objective
The Sales Director, Latin America is the driving force behind our Latin America sales team, the Sales Director will spearhead market development and growth in the LATAM region. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to ensure the continued expansion of Hoshizaki Alliance products within the assigned territory. The Sales Director will Leverage and strengthen relationships in the region with Bottler Groups, Distributors, and other Key Accounts. Responsibilities include achieving monthly recurring revenue targets and managing KPI activities. This position will report to the Director, Latin America Enterprise.
Key Performance Indicators
· Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed assigned monthly revenue goals while staying within budget.
· Market Development: Develop and execute strategies to grow market share in the Latin American region.
· Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with bottler groups, distributors, and other key customers.
· Business Reporting & Review: Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews and reports for the Director, LATAM Enterprise.
· Product Support & Market Performance: Monitor the performance of Hoshizaki Alliance products in the market and provide training and presentations to customers and partners.
Essential Functions
· Create and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly recurring revenue targets.
· Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, trends and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.
· Leverage and strengthen relationships with Bottler Groups, Distributors, and other key customers to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Own and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure alignment with business goals.
· Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
· Work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service to ensure a cohesive approach to market growth.
· Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
· Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
· Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
· This role may be located remotely, with frequent travel particularly to key focus countries.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
· Deep knowledge of the Latin American market, including cultural, economic, and business practices.
· Comprehensive understanding of Hoshizaki Alliance products and their applications.
· Strong leadership skills to drive and motivate the sales team.
· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Bottler Groups, Distributors, and other key customers.
· Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends to inform strategy.
· Negotiation: Skilled in negotiation to close deals and manage contracts effectively.
· Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
· Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region.
· Strong focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.
· Ability to identify and resolve issues that may hinder sales performance.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field; or equivalent
· At least 5-10 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion of that time spent in the Latin American market
· Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and developing a sales team.
· Deep understanding of the Latin American market, including cultural, economic, and business practices.
· Proven experience with beverage products and services or related products.
· Fluent in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
Standing, sitting, walking, and bending as needed. Using the proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 30 lbs. May have to reach for object at or above shoulder height.
May be required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones.
