JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
JT4 is seeking a motivated and results-driven Project Lead to assist in the coordination of an upcoming high-impact cloud based real-time development and integration project. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams through complex technical challenges and contribute to mission-critical work that directly supports national security objectives.
Tasking includes but are not limited to:
- Monitor a complex development project task across a cross functional, multi-disciplinary, multi range environment.
- Gather, document and track requirements throughout the project using project management software tools.
- Assist with various procurement processes.
- Assist in performing analysis of alternatives.
- Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Interface with vendors, which includes tracking status, coordinating tech reviews and component testing.
- Assist in priority determinations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Plan and document all project design reviews.
- Develop, review, and deliver project documentation.
- Establish, track and report project budget.
- Assist in identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and control project progress, and any contingency efforts.
- Regularly report project status and updates through project/program reviews to multiple customers.
- Assist in the development of acceptance test and implementation plans.
- Travel to various test range locations as needed for requirements gathering and project status.
- Document lessons learned and archive project data for future reference.
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have extensive experience, knowledge and skills working with real time flight test range protocols, communication channels, RF, Telemetry, data transport and display.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of various classification levels and pertinent protocols.
- Must possess planning/organizing skills, be able to work under deadlines, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have an active secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Must have a bachelor's or higher degree, or any combination of formal education, training and experience equivalent to eight years' involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments.In addition, Project Lead II must possess the following qualifications:
- Must have demonstrated knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, continuous quality and process improvement, configuration management, setting and measurement of program goals
- Must have practical experience managing projects and proficiency with project management tools & applications.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $94,411 to $135,262 annually.

JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. This position may require travel.
