- Our schools are looking for talented and committed teachers to play a key role in the establishment of curriculum and culture as they develop a world-class education program from the stages of vision to execution.
- The outcomes our students deserve necessitate continuously strong teaching from the time our students enter kindergarten until they graduate from college. As such, our teachers will work closely with each school’s leadership team to ensure our students learn, grow, and eventually achieve transformative life outcomes. Each teacher will be responsible for ensuring that our students have the opportunity to learn in an environment of joyful, excellent teaching.

- Teachers are expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a TK-12 learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic and socio-emotional potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal.

- Have proficient knowledge of Google Suite applications (Google Classroom, Hangout, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Have the ability to learn and utilize instructional technology to support in-class and distance learning (i.e. Zoom, Nearpod)
- Hold a B.A/B.S degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Hold a valid teaching credential or be in the process of securing one (please click here to learn more)
- Hold a B.A/B.S degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Meet one of the following eligibility requirements:
- Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject of your desired role, or
- Eligibility for a Provisional Internship Permit or Eligibility for a Short Term Staff Permit (CPR certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is a prerequisite for this permit)
- Experience as an educator teaching Black and Brown students for one or more years (preferred)
- Spanish speaking (preferred)
- Develop lesson plans for English language arts and English language development
- Teach curricula aligned to ELD standards and Common Core ELA standards
- Support and coach teachers on how to integrate ELD into their core content areas
- Assess and analyze students’ performance and progress to ensure they are mastering developmental skills regularly, and responding to data to support all scholars to achieve academic success
- Build Relationships with our students, passionate staff, and committed families by:
- Maintain an open line of communication with families
- Work to maintain a positive culture on campus by building strong relationships with students and staff members
- Successfully strike a balance of warm and demanding in your communication with students
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment during class sessions
