Hybrid Pastry Supervisor en Kalahari Resorts & Conventions

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center. 

We are inviting you to apply for the Pastry Supervisor position. In this role, you will assist the Pastry Chef in all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of associates in methods of cooking/baking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

We require that you have background, consisting of 2+ years' experience in a high-volume bakery or other dining venue working in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, baking, cake decorating. One year of culinary supervisory experience in food service, fine dining, or restaurant preferred.

Additional required skills include: 

• Operating knowledge of food management systems: Flat grill, pasta well, steam table, browning oven, cheese chopper/grater, steam jacket, ovens, top burners, pizza and dessert cooler, slicer, broiler, steamer and knives.
