Join Our Team!

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. In this role, you’ll analyze project plans and materials to prepare accurate quotes, support design consultants with pricing, and produce 2D/3D drawings to bring proposals to life. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure projects are accurately scoped and executed.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and supporting materials to develop detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare and compile quotes, including labor and material costs, into comprehensive proposals with clearly defined project descriptions and scope.
• Assist sales/design consultants in value engineering efforts for budget-sensitive clients by revising estimates or recommending cost-effective alternatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure sold jobs are supported with accurate costing data and preliminary CAD drawings.
• Generate 2D and 3D renderings and technical drawings as needed to support quotes, facilitate customer approvals, or communicate design intent to      manufacturing.
• Assist in updating and preparing technical documentation, including installation and assembly instructions.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing for outsourced materials or specialty components.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations to ensure alignment throughout the estimating and production process.

Requirements

 Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an estimating or project quoting role, preferably in a design/build, manufacturing, or construction environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare accurate cost reports and support data-driven decision making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD software and rendering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks) is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments.
