FireTron Inc. is a leading provider of commercial life safety systems, specializing in the installation, service, and inspection of fire alarm, security, access control, sprinkler, and special hazard suppression systems. We are currently seeking an organized, relationship-focused, and adaptable Internal Recruiter to join our team. The Internal Recruiter is responsible for managing and executing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract, evaluate, and hire top talent across the organization. This role partners with hiring managers and the HR team to understand staffing needs, source qualified candidates, and ensure positive candidate experience from application through onboarding. The Internal Recruiter plays a key role in building a strong internal talent pipeline and promoting the organization’s employer brand. 

Requirements

Recruitment Strategy:

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Develop job descriptions and ensure postings accurately reflect role requirements and align with company branding
  • Maintain and continuously improve recruiting processes to ensure efficiency and compliance


Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:

  • Proactively source candidates through various channels including job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and networking events
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired roles and hard-to-fill positions
  • Utilize recruitment tools to manage candidate flow and communication


Candidate Screening and Selection:

  • Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with role expectations
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring teams and facilitate timely feedback
  • Guide candidates through the interview process, providing support and updates throughout


Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:

  • Promote Firetron’s culture and values throughout the recruitment process
  • Represent Firetron at job fairs, networking events, and on social media platforms
  • Ensure an engaging, inclusive, and respectful candidate experience


Offer and Onboarding Coordination:

  • Work with HR and hiring managers to develop and extend competitive job offers
  • Conduct reference and background checks as needed
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure a smooth transition into onboarding


Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and pipeline health
  • Analyze data to identify trends, make recommendations for improvement, and forecast future hiring needs


Compliance and Process Improvement:

  • Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment tools, systems, and workflows
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Human Resources Director


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or other relevant recruiting certifications preferred
  • 2-4 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in an internal recruiting role
  • Willingness to travel to different locations based on business needs
  • Experience sourcing candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, etc.) 
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies, applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws related to recruitment and hiring
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with candidates and hiring managers
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive candidate and employee information
  • Familiarity with employer branding strategies and social media recruitment is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
