THE POSITION
Knowledge of event parking software systems, particularly within North American stadiums, is essential. The Supervisor will also help to oversee parking and permitting operations and manage the VAPPs lifecycle and VAPP Office.
Key responsibilities include: Assist the Parking and Permitting Manager with tournament wide VAPP requirements (digital and printed).

- Collaborate with FIFA constituent groups to identify requirements that support vehicle movement to, from, and within competition and non-competition venues.
- Assist in managing a robust VAPP database system to ensure accurate data capture and use throughout the lifecycle of FIFA26 and related pre-events (e.g., FIFA Club World Cup 2025, Final Draw).
- Liaise with client services and functional areas to collect VAPP requirements.
- Manage stadium parking numbers to align parking capacity with the correct number of VAPPs allocated and distributed to constituent groups.
- Liaise with Bus and Fleet Management, Venue Teams, and Site and Facility sub-projects to determine accurate VAPP quantities based on operational needs.
- Assist in coordinating layouts of competition and non-competition car park facilities with Venue Transport Managers.
- Manage VAPP boards related to car park operations. · Ensure compliance with VAPP Policies and Procedures, operations plans, training guides, client guides, and securing approval from stakeholders.
- Support the management of a centralized application and distribution process for VAPPs, based on approved policies.
- Manage a VAPP help desk to address staff and stakeholder queries and requests during the tournament.
- Implement an issue resolution process to address VAPP-related challenges efficiently.
- Oversee a team of VAPP Coordinators to execute VAPP processes, including distribution and system implementation, across all tournament venues.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Project management, Event Management, Major Sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position.
- Master’s Degree is an additional asset
- Minimum of 1-3 years Transport work experience: ideally within the NFL, Major League sports, or major tier 1 events. (e.g. Super Bowls, CFP, Concerts or international Soccer)
- Transport operations experience within at least one international mega event, ideally more than one world class sport event (e.g. World Cup and/or Olympic Games, Regional football tournaments, etc.)
- Experience in planning and delivering a transport parking permit program and operating within a venue transport related role at a major event.
- Experience working in multi-functional event organizations and in dynamic and fast paced environments.
- Experience of leading a team and proven project delivery experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
- Stadium technology parking schemes
- AutoCAD or Revit Certification is a plus
- Experience in data management systems (e.g. PARCS, Digital Parking Platforms or Parking Access Control Systems and Applications)
