The ZeniMax Media HR team is looking for an HR Business Manager who can think strategically in a complex and fast paced environment and quickly operationalize into tangible results that scale through trusted partnerships.
As an HR Business Manager, you will be responsible for operationalizing the People Plan, while running a rigorous and disciplined rhythm for the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive strategic planning, support team and leader effectiveness, and the operating rhythm of the HR organization. The HR Business Manager will report directly to the SVP, Global HR and will partner closely with the ZMI HR leadership team and other key stakeholders. The HR Business Manager is responsible for day-to-day interactions to impact, shape, simplify and create value across our way of working for our HR team and the business.
Responsibilities:Executive Team Communications
- Supports the development of content for internal communication.
- Communicates relevant information to the organization as required.
Leader Engagement/Thought Leadership
- Leverages manager input to create foundational and storytelling content to articulate strategies, results and goals for internal forums (e.g., executive meetings, event presentations).
- Leverages understanding of audience needs to ensure content is tailored to audience preferences and breaks down complex information into actionable steps for audience.
Maximizing/ Extending the Leader
- Leverages or continues to build broader networks to foster strong relationships that support execution across the business.
- Manages and cultivates relationships with leaders and peers of internal teams.
- Leverages knowledge of the leader's goals and approach to ensure team activities are aligned with the leader's objectives.
- Supports the leader in communicating key goals, priorities, and definitions.
- Maximizes a culture to support and represent the leader and team.
- Participates in and provides perspective and a point of view to the leader on specific areas within or external to the organization, and with regard to communications, budgets, and the team pulse.
Business Operations
- Partners with the leadership team to develop and execute planning processes, ensuring coordination with corporate planning processes as well as planning integration across the broader organization.
- Works with cross-company/team counterparts to manage team participation as needed for key business events.
- Promotes and creates clarity and intentionality for consistency/differences across the relevant People Priorities by business, area, or country, creating synergies, and avoiding duplication of work.
- Partners across the Human Resources (HR) model to ensure seamless, high-quality delivery of HR services. Participates in and helps drive the leadership team's HR governance inclusive of HR Business Partners/HR Directors and Centers of Excellence (COEs).
- Supports the businesses/teams including budget management for the HR team.
Special Projects/Programs and Initiatives
- Contributes to cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and manage business needs.
- Engages in projects/programs while executing aspects of projects/programs for larger areas, including work on strategic efforts that require hands-on experience which may be across multiple disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field AND 4+ years of experience in human resources or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree in human resources AND 3+ years of experience in human resources business-related roles
- OR bachelor’s degree in human resources AND 6+ years of experience in human resources or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
HR Business Manager - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
