Voyage Healthcare is looking for a Medical Support Staff Site (MSS) Coordinator (LPN/CMA/RMA).
- The hourly range for this position is $25.50 - $32.50. Compensation is based on years of relevant experience.
The Medical Support Staff (MSS) Site Coordinator is a leadership position that is responsible for planning and coordinating the daily activities of the Medical Support Staff (MSS) and always ensuring proper coverage. Recommends hiring of, orienting, and training of MSS. Evaluates the performance of staff in conjunction with provider, department personnel and site manager. Responsible for ensuring the Clinic’s compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations, implementing, planning, and evaluating educational information with the assistance of the Site Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily functions to promote and maintain patients’ health and wellness
- Provide leadership and support of the site’s Medical Support Staff (MSS) by assisting with training and development, evaluate and monitor MSS work performance, conduct performance evaluations, and address/counsel staff as needed
- Communicate changes in clinic policies, procedures, and protocols to department staff
- Responsible for maintaining properly operating medical equipment and instruments and contacting appropriate personnel for repairs
- Oversee inventory of controlled substances, medications, and medication supplies
- Complies with procedures and policies to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA standards
- Works and assists in the Medical Support Staff Departments as needed
- Assists Site Manager with projects as needed
Requirements:
- Required CMA/LPN graduate from an accredited school and currently licensed/certified in Minnesota
- CPR Certification, required within one month of employment
- Exercising high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and direct the work of others and communicate clearly
- This position requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, and procedures
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
