Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate a variety of CNC equipment on the production floor.
  • Make adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quality requirements.
  • Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices.
  • Safely utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines.
  • Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
  • Able to interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and requirements.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly, and performing basic preventative maintenance functions of the equipment.
  • Maintain quality records.
  • Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • Technical/trade school training or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer operations and applications.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal and written communications to accomplish the job at hand.
  • Experience in manufacturing aerospace and medical-grade components.
