SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
Location: Arlington, Virginia or Huntsville, Alabama | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: Public Trust
Note: This position is part of an active proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award.

Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support GTI’s mission to enhance lead quality through innovative data-driven strategies and open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies. This role will play a pivotal part in improving business processes, integrating intelligence solutions, and contributing to national security by supporting Federal Law Enforcement investigations.


Key Responsibilities
  • The Senior Business Analyst will analyze and refine current business processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of GTI’s intelligence-gathering and lead development initiatives.
  • The Analyst will conduct comprehensive open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and deliver actionable insights to support national security investigations.
  • He or she will extract and interpret large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and key findings; clearly communicate outcomes and provide strategic recommendations.
  • The Senior Business Analyst will lead and mentor Junior Data Analysts in identifying individuals, entities, and networks relevant to GTI investigative missions.
  • The Analyst will collaborate closely with the Program Manager and analytical teams to fulfill the evolving requirements of GTI’s investigative units.
  • The Analyst will support the development of automated, user-friendly data visualization tools (e.g., dashboards, reports) to inform decision-making and advance case objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing end-to-end data solutions, including requirements gathering, implementation, and delivery.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience creating intuitive, automated dashboards and reports that aid decision-making and investigative progression.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in open-source intelligence (OSINT) support, including processing, exploitation, dissemination (PED), and follow-up research.
  • At least four (4) years of experience mining and scraping data from the open and dark web, including performing ETL (extract, transform, load) functions.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in social media exploitation, trend analysis, illicit network identification, and uncovering concealed associations.
  • At least three (3) years of experience conducting data analysis, including trend and link analysis, and the identification of hidden relationships.
