Job Summary
A teacher is a credentialed employee who under the direction of the site administrator or his/her designee, conducts in accordance with District policies and regulation, an educational program in a classroom and elsewhere as assigned, for the purpose of providing an atmosphere where learning may take palace on the part of students assigned and is responsible to administration for maintaining acceptable behavior of students.

Placement on the salary schedule is dependent upon acceptable years of education and teaching experience (up to 7 years) if the former position is 75% of the school year, you were under contract, the school is WASC accredited, and you are credentialed during your time of employment with that institution.
