A little about the position:
Job Summary
A Databricks Developer is responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines and scalable analytics solutions using the Databricks platform on Azure. They collect, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to support business decision-making. Their primary focus is on building end-to-end data workflows, leveraging Apache Spark within Databricks and Azure Data Factory to uncover actionable insights through advanced analytics and machine learning models. They create interactive notebooks, dashboards, and visualizations, enabling stakeholders to explore trends and assess performance with precision. Collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and business teams is essential to ensure accurate data delivery and meaningful communication of results.
Some of What You Will Do:
·Design and implement data pipelines using Apache Spark on the Databricks platform for real-time and batch processing
Develop scalable ETL workflows to ingest, cleanse, and transform data from structured and unstructured sources
Create and optimize Delta Lake tables for consistent, high-performance data storage and querying
Build data visualizations and dashboards and integrate with BI tools such as Power BI
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to deliver reliable and actionable analytics solutions
Automate processes and workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks jobs, task orchestration, and workspace management
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance, including implementing appropriate governance and access control
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and validate data integrity
Integrate with external systems such as ERPs, APIs, and legacy databases
Document development processes, data flows, and solutions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing
Stay up-to-date with best practices and new features in Databricks and the Spark ecosystem
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
Education:
·Bachelors/Masters in Data Science/Analytics or equivalent
Technical skills:
·Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks workflows
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance optimization
Experience working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and machine learning frameworks
Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
Analytical skills:

Salary Range: $90,000-$125,000
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
Bonus: MIB Tier 3, 10% of base pay
