Applicant Eligibility: Sophomore (Class of 2028) through Seniors (Class of 2026)

Position Details: Do you remember being a first-year student and trying to navigate UC? Didn't you wish that you had a student to help you make your way through the complexities of being a college student on a new campus?! Do you want to help other students learn how to put their best foot forward as soon as they step on campus?

If the answer is YES, then you could help this incoming first-year cohort by being an APEX ambassador!

This year's freshman cohort will be assigned one of six first year academic advisors/career coaches. Instead of traditional first-year advising, the students will enroll in APEX-50 in the fall semester and APEX-51 in the spring semester. Your job as APEX ambassador would be to attend the advising sections (like a TA role) with each ambassador joining ~4 (1 hour) advising sections/week. There will also be occasional first year events during the semester that you can support with the advisors and other ambassadors.

This current application is for this coming Fall 2025.  If you are also interested in APEX-51 you can indicate that you would like to also be considered for the spring semester.
