About the Role:

The Bakery Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Bakery Manager to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations within a retail bakery environment. This position focuses on maintaining high standards of product quality, customer service, and team performance to drive sales and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will oversee inventory management, staff scheduling, and training to optimize productivity and minimize waste. They will also assist in implementing marketing initiatives and promotions to attract and retain customers. Ultimately, this role is vital in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the bakery meets its financial and operational goals consistently.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a retail bakery or food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
