Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy: Design and implement a Category Sourcing Strategy for EPC and BOP services for the company’s Energy Storage project pipeline. Drive the phases of a sourcing strategy, including identifying requirements, stakeholder alignment, supplier benchmarking, specifications, supply strategy/method RFx, executing the sourcing process, and formalizing contract agreements.
Stakeholder Management: Identify Fluence Engineering team requirements for the construction of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) sites. Collaborate with other internal departments (Engineering, Project Management, Sales, Legal) to drive comprehensive and successful sourcing tenders.
Supplier Management: Build partnerships with external construction suppliers for BESS Civil works and Electrical works, including civil construction and concrete foundations, electrical equipment and installation, and HV Transformers.
Tender Management: Lead detailed RFQs (Request for Quotations) process design and implementation for projects in the region.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management, preferably within the energy or construction sectors (Civil/Electrical).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in German.
Educational background in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Specialization in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
