Purpose: LSB is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to optimize and drive efficiency through certain areas of our logistics capability with a primary focus revolving around rail car maintenance. The ideal candidate will provide an analytical approach to identifying trends, maximizing efficiencies, and report railcar progress to management.
Position Location: Corporate HQ - Oklahoma City, OK preferred. Remote position to be considered if location allows for appropriate travel when required.
Responsibilities / Key Tasks
- Develop meaningful reporting on the effectiveness of the rail fleet (e.g. unhealthy rail cars; cars sitting beyond expected timeframe at customer or railyard)
- Develop, communicate, and maintain key performance indicators to track progress in meeting objectives.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Manage and optimize rail fleet efficiency for rail car movements.
- Manage rail fleet maintenance programs to ensure compliance while managing the impact to LSB’s customers and stakeholders.
- Manage mobile repair unit process with emphasis on cost-effective solutions to mitigate out of service time.
- Update and maintain databases with logistics data.
Qualifications
- BA in Business, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to work closely across various levels of stakeholders and drive performance to achieve objectives.
- Analytical skills; experience monitoring metrics and identifying/implementing corrective actions.
- Detail-oriented with great organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, with a focus on process and time management discipline.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding.
- Performance driven with a strong hunger for success and an ability to deliver results and solutions.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills.
- Proven ability to engage people and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills.
