What you will be doing:
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be expected to play a leadership role relative to analytics within the New Member GPO Implementation Team and across Premier that entails development, execution, expertise, training, communications, etc. They will work collaboratively with employees in strategic sourcing, contract management (Medical-Surgical, or MS, and Pharmacy, or Rx), custom tool analytics and member field services to perform data analyses, conduct research, execute financial models, prepare presentation materials and work with key suppliers.
The Senior Analyst will assist all levels of an implementation such as Med/Surg and Rx analytics, membership rostering, contract tracker creation/organization, supplier engagement, member communications and support, project deliverable monitoring and maintaining relationships with internal and external groups. In addition to med/surg project support, the Senior Analyst position will be focused on post -implementation work, such as: 6- month post conversion audit, identifying reporting gaps or lags thru trend analysis, maintaining precise records for comparing new member GPO onboardings. The role requires a commanding knowledge of the sourcing process from member need identification to contract execution, familiar with terms and conditions, Premier electronic tools (Supply Chain Advisor (SCA), CAMS, Pharmacy Spend, Spend Analytics, Portfolio Analytics, Adobe, and DocuSign electronic signature platform).
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility #1– 75%
Analytics & Financial Modeling
• Creates and analyzes compelling reports, graphs, charts, trending, and presentations to be utilized during and post conversion.
• Develops key reports and analyses using analytical tools. Responsible for maintaining completed implementation datasets.
• Utilizes Excel/Access/Tableau to create formulas and summations utilizing both MS and Rx data from Member, wholesaler, and various tool outputs.
• Utilize Premier applications to develop high quality, member-ready analytics in support of achieving savings in excess of targets.
• Utilizes Rx Cost Analyzer, Spend Analytics, CAMs, Portfolio Modeling (PM) tool and Access to create useable conversion action plans.
• Produce a 6-month post conversion audit analyzing across multiple Premier system reports.
• Creates and sends completed contract round files to new Member.
• Completes ad hoc reports
• Identifies, investigates and resolves data anomalies and discrepancies.
• Maintain and manages multiple datasets that provide accurate intel for data driven decision making.
• Demonstrates a high degree of independence and ownership of projects and summarizes data in a visually appealing presentation to influence decision making.
Responsibility #2 – 15%
Communications & Record Keeping
• Creates PowerPoint presentations that provide succinct and informational messages.
• Utilizes Adobe software and DocuSign electronic signature platform for form creation and editing.
• Oversees Declarations of Commitment (DEC)/Letters of Commitment (LOC) form submissions and ensures they are completed in a timely manner.
• Completes analyses in preparation for meetings for leadership to include gathering and analyzing data and preparing presentation materials.
• Presents complex data in a succinct manner with a knowledge level to address questions that assures member relations and trust.
• Communicates regularly with suppliers to resolve any price discrepancies and confirm contract pricing is in place.
• Provides training for new employees and participates in planning, assigning, and delegating tasks.
Responsibility #3 – 10%
Development
• Actively participates in the development of ways to improve the MS Data Process as well as the Rx onboarding process
• Develop a better understanding of other teams and roles directly associated with the New Member Implementation Team to identify/suggest areas of improvement of the onboarding process.
• Works closely with Custom Tools Analytics team to develop actionable repository of all New Member GPO Implementation results.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree
