Hybrid Billing Specialist with Ukrainian language en Flix

As a Billing Specialist at Flix, you can make an impact by ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient billing for our Bus Partners in Ukraine, while contributing to cross-regional finance operations. This role was opened to support our growing Eastern Europe region by improving financial transparency, enhancing invoicing accuracy, and driving process optimization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

• You are responsible for timely and accurate Bus Partner billing
• You work on Toll fees/Bus stations controlling, also with external partners
• You prepare Intercompany recharges support documentation
• You perform regular Bus costs and Infrastructure costs reporting
• You participate in Agencies Billing and administration
• You prepare supporting documentation for VAT reporting and cooperate with external advisors
• You review and improve invoicing processes, aligning Ukraine’s operations with Flix HQ standards and Eastern Europe region practices

About You

• 2+ years of experience in finance, preferably in a dynamic, start-up, or growing company
• Solid analytical skills and confidence working with numbers
• Experience in process improvement, implementation, or optimization—not just following processes
• Ability to challenge the status quo and proactively suggest new ways of working
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain billing details to external partners and build trust
• Upper-intermediate English and native-level Ukrainian

Nice to have: 

• Solid Excel skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with the automation of processes
