Second Mile is searching for a driven, relationship‑first Growth Strategist whose sole mandate is net‑new revenue generation and strategic account expansion. You’ll architect and lead the entire sales processfrom first touch to signed contractwhile amplifying Second Mile’s market voice through a strong LinkedIn presence and light thought‑leadership contributions. Core Objectives

  1. Generate net‑new revenue through outbound, inbound, and partner channels.

  2. Partner with Account Strategists to expand current clients via upsells, cross‑sells, and renewalspropelling overall company revenue.

  3. Own the full sales cycleprospecting, discovery, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close.

  4. Elevate Second Mile’s brand by sharing insights on LinkedIn and co‑creating light content.


What You’ll Own

Business Development & Pipeline Management
  • Identify, research, and prospect ideal‑fit companies via LinkedIn, events, partner ecosystems, and referrals.

  • Design and execute outbound cadences; collaborate with Marketing to convert inbound demand.

  • Draft tailored proposals/SOWs that outline scope, ROI, and success metrics; iterate until signature.

  • Maintain meticulous pipeline hygiene in HubSpotforecast accurately, log activities, and keep next steps crisp.

Relationship‑Driven Sales Execution
  • Guide prospects through a consultative journey, aligning solutions to revenue targets and pain points.

  • Facilitate demos and ROI workshops with the Solutions team when deeper technical context is required.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms within guardrails; secure win‑win outcomes.

  • Ensure a flawless hand‑off to Account Strategists and Project Managers with clear scope, timeline, and KPIs.

Account Growth Support
  • Collaborate with Account Strategists to uncover expansion opportunities inside live engagements.

  • Co‑develop upsell/cross‑sell strategies and assist in pitching, pricing, and closing add‑ons.

  • Monitor account health metrics (CSAT, adoption, renewal dates) and flag risks or growth windows.

Market Presence, Partnerships & Thought Leadership
  • Represent Second Mile at conferences (e.g., Fiber Connect), trade shows, and virtual events.

  • Maintain an active LinkedIn presencepublish insights, engage prospects, and share success stories.

  • Provide inputs for blogs, webinars, and case studies (outline levelno heavy writing required).

  • Cultivate alliances with complementary agencies and HubSpot partners to unlock co‑selling opportunities.

Sales Process Optimization & Reporting
  • Analyze win/loss trends, deal velocity, and funnel conversion; recommend playbook improvements.

  • Refresh ICP definitions, pricing models, and quota frameworks with leadership.

  • Stay current on HubSpot releases, RevOps best practices, and competitive movements; translate insights into refined positioning.


What Sets You Up for Success

  • 3+ years of quota‑carrying success in B2B SaaS, agency, or consulting sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to build multi‑six‑figure pipelines and close complex deals.

  • Fluency with HubSpot CRM/Sales Hub (certifications strongly preferred).

  • Executive‑level communicationstorytelling, negotiation, and objection handling.

  • Adept with remote‑team tech (ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom).

Compensation

  • Base Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 based on experience
  • Commission incentives will factor heavily into this role’s compensation
  • Target OTE: $100,000 - $125,000
