This role will be responsible for ensuring a sufficient material supply for clinical and commercial programs at the site, working with cross-functioning teams to mitigate any material risks. Responsibilities range from enrollment of new materials to ensuring timely release of materials for manufacturing.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for documenting material requirements and ensuring adequate supply in support of commercial and clinical manufacturing. 

  • Identifies and escalates material supply or release risks that may impact the manufacturing schedule.

  • Perform inventory/supply analysis in support of production scenario analysis.

  • Responsible for preparing draft BOMs for clinical programs and submitting the request for the SAP BOM.

  • Loads independent demand in order for buyer(s) to create purchase orders for materials.

  • Initiates enrollment of materials per Clinical Manufacturing program needs.

  • Lead efforts to implement new or alternative materials with existing suppliers.

  • Any other business-related tasks.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 4+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience

  • Proficiency in inventory management concepts

  • Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) in clean areas

  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills

  • Effective written and oral communication abilities

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience

  • SAP/ERP systems experience

  • Knowledge of planning, inventory management, reporting, and other supply chain/logistics

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location Assignment: Flexible colleagues are assigned a Pfizer site within a commutable distance where they work about 2.5 days weekly to connect and innovate with their team face-to-face. However, they also benefit from being able to work offsite regularly when it makes business sense to do so.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,300.00 to $133,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
