Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance and management companies in the U.S., is seeking a skilled DOT Driver Compliance Specialist to join our growing compliance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the safety and compliance of our regulated driver workforce across the country. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting internal customers, and contributing to the success of Amerit’s fleet operations.
Compensation: Competitive Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and track driver qualification renewals, including CDL licenses, medical cards, and annual driving records.
- Process employment applications and DOT-required documentation for onboarding new drivers.
- Set up and maintain Driver Qualification Files (DQFs), ensuring they are complete, accurate, and audit ready.
- Monitor MVR reports, track license suspensions, and manage DQ file status updates.
- Utilize ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk) to manage compliance tasks and requests.
- Provide day-to-day support for driver compliance questions and documentation needs.
- Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders, including HR, Safety, and field operations team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential reports and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform other compliance-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, human resources, communications, or a related field preferred but not required. Relevant work experience may substitute for education.
- 2-4 years of experience in DOT compliance, fleet compliance, HR compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations regarding driver qualification files, MVRs, and drug/alcohol testing requirements is highly desirable.
- Experience working with a DQF 3rd party provider like J.J. Keller, First Advantage, DISA, etc. to manage driver qualification files for motor carrier.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with various levels of employees and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook).
- Experience using compliance tracking systems or ticketing software (e.g., Zendesk) is a plus.
- Self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy, and able to work effectively in a remote environment supporting a geographically diverse workforce.
