Position Summary:

Brown Advisory has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and versatile go-getter to join our team in Delaware as a Fiduciary Specialist. As a key member of the Fiduciary Oversight team, the Fiduciary Specialist facilitates trust administration for Brown Advisory Trust Company of Delaware. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting timely, efficient, and effective trust management and administration activity in accordance with our fiduciary duties as expressed in the governing instrument and Delaware law. As a foundational member of our Delaware fiduciary team, the Fiduciary Specialist will play a key role in the growth and development of our fiduciary business by helping to design and improve processes and procedures for effective collaboration with our Private Client, Endowments & Foundations teams.

The primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct trust administration activity as member of the core Fiduciary Oversight Team and Delaware

  • Assist Fiduciary Oversight Team to improve and streamline workflows and risk analyses

  • Maintaining our trust document library and other items of record (special assets)

  • Maintaining our shared signatory inbox to assure timely execution of necessary documents

  • Reconciliation of trust accounting data to align with on-boarding and trust life cycle updates

  • Executing cash flows, asset transfers and other related transactions in alignment with oversight assignment

  • Conducting daily reconciliations of transactional activity in alignment with trust provisions


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2+ years’ experience with trust administration and fiduciary accounts or educational equivalent

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and willingness to learn

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively

  • Demonstrates tact, discretion, and good judgement in handling sensitive and confidential information

  • Proficiency in learning systems and processes to execute activities accurately and efficiently

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Exhibits excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Eager to contribute and learn, ask questions, and solve problems

Salary: $80-90k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
