Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is searching for DevOps Software Engineers and Principal Software Engineers to join the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit in support of our programs in Huntsville, AL. These positions will support the IBCS Product Line DevOps Team.

Basic Qualifications:

Engineer Software: 2 Years experience with Bachelor’s Degree, 0 Years with Masters

Principal Engineer Software: 5 Years experience with Bachelor’s Degree, 3 Years with Masters, 0 years with PhD

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience in Linux environment
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Ant
• Experience with JUnit
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Containers
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with Java and/or C++

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Squish
• Experience with Army Air and Missile Defense Systems

Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00Salary Range 2: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
