Pattern is a leading ecommerce accelerator offering services such as marketplace acceleration, D2C ecommerce consulting, and a full-service digital agency including SEM, SEO, Social, CRM, and Affiliate marketing. We help ambitious brands fast-track their digital success across Australia and global markets.
We’re looking for a driven and highly organised Events & Partnerships Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Pattern’s B2B events and partnership programs in Australia. You’ll own everything from executive dinners and roundtables to large-scale sponsorships, while managing key strategic partners to build influence and drive demand.
This is a hands-on role that blends logistics, commercial thinking, and relationship-building – ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This full-time, hybrid role can be based in our Melbourne or Sydney office.
Key Responsbilities
Plan and execute Pattern-led events including Executive Acceleration Forums (EAFs), roundtables, client dinners, and marketing workshops.
Manage logistics end-to-end: venues, catering, run sheets, speakers, guest comms, and post-event follow-ups.
Lead our presence at sponsored industry events - from stand design and speaker prep to promotion and follow-up.
Collaborate with content, CRM, and paid media teams to drive registrations and maximise event impact.
Track and report on event ROI, including lead generation, pipeline influence, and partner engagement.
Manage and grow strategic marketing partnerships with platforms and technology providers.
Identify and lead co-marketing campaigns and joint event activations.
Run regular partner planning sessions and performance reviews.
Collaborate with Sales on account mapping, co-sell initiatives, and referral motions.
Cultivate relationships with customers and partners who can act as brand advocates or event speakers.
Build a VIP ecosystem of senior marketers, ecommerce leaders, and future-facing collaborators.
Create unique, high-touch experiences that deepen loyalty and differentiate Pattern in the market.
Maintain a forward-looking 6–12 month calendar of events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
Manage budgets, timelines, and relationships with suppliers and venues.
Ensure tight CRM integration for all events and partnerships (e.g. tagging, tracking, lead flow).
Support award submissions when aligned with major events, campaigns, or partner programs.
How will my success be measured?
Successful planning and execution of high-quality events on time and within budget
Growth in strategic partnerships and delivery of joint marketing initiatives
Lead generation and measurable influence on sales pipeline from events and activations

Strong attendance, engagement, and satisfaction across owned and partnered events
Effective management of budgets, timelines, and supplier relationships
Accurate reporting and CRM integration to track ROI, leads, and impact
What will I need to thrive in this role?
3+ years’ experience in B2B event marketing, partnerships, or field marketing.
Proven ability to run professional events end-to-end, both in-person and virtual.
Strong stakeholder and partner management skills - from tech platforms to C-level clients.
Excellent project management and organisational capabilities.
A commercial mindset: you know how to link brand and partnership activity to business results.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
Australian work rights (e.g. citizen or permanent resident).
