About the Role The Communications Specialist will report to the Senior Communications Manager and will be responsible for supporting media, content creation, social media, and brand partnerships. Responsibilities - Organize initiatives and plan events such as press conferences - Liaise with the media and handle requests for interviews, statements, etc. - Support editorial, event, and other planning - Support brand partnership content creation, planning, and event activations - Track and develop analytical reports of media and social media performance - Exhibit a high level of professionalism and creative thinking - Support the Communications team with projects and daily tasks, including updating and maintaining the media page, content creation for social media, announcement planning and execution, and writing for PR and internal communications Requirements - 2+ years of experience in PR, communications, or media - Proven experience as a communications specialist - Ability to distill complicated information into plain language - Experience in social media content production - Experience in copywriting and editing - Understanding and awareness of basic cybersecurity concepts - Outstanding organizational and planning abilities - Ability to engage with other functional areas and manage initiatives to completion - Proficient command of the English language (written and spoken) Preferred Requirements - BSc/BA in public relations, communications, or relevant field - Experience working in the cybersecurity industry Benefits - Medical, Dental & Vision (inclusive of domestic partnerships) - Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental life - Voluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance - 401K (Roth/Traditional) - A generous PTO plan that celebrates commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc.) - Above-market annual bonuses
