In this role, you’ll closely collaborate within the Engineering team to architect, manage, and optimize our cloud-based systems. From provisioning infrastructure as code and administering Linux-based environments to streamlining deployment processes and implementing robust monitoring solutions, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a secure, high-performing infrastructure that supports our fast-paced, data-driven operations.We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative engineer who thrives in agile environments, brings a deep understanding of AWS, and has a knack for problem-solving. You’ll also have the opportunity to share your expertise, educating both technical and non-technical team members on best practices to enhance operational efficiency. If you’re passionate about infrastructure automation, compliance, and working on impactful projects that ensure the seamless delivery of secure software solutions, this role is for you. - Location: Hybrid-remote at our Rocklin, CA office
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Compensation: $135,000-$159,000/year
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required (up to 10% of working hours), and is generally limited to relevant conferences or work functions
Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least 4-6 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3)
- Relevant professional certifications preferred
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation and public speaking
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
- Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Maintain patience and professionalism while working with various levels of technical understanding
- Thrive in autonomous environment
- Diligently track units of work, tasks and projects with appropriate tools
- Effective at prioritization of tasks based on need/importance
- Highly proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
- Experience with Docker, GitHub and deploying applications on AWS
- Advanced knowledge of macOS and Linux operating systems and networking
- Lean and agile software development methodologies
- Best practices for securing data
- Willingness to learn and adapt as industry changes occur
- Exceptional teamwork
