The Role:

As an essential member of our Collections team, you’ll play a pivotal role in assisting customers facing financial difficulties in managing their billing obligations effectively. This position requires a compassionate approach, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.

You’ll work 20 hours per week remotely, 4pm-8pm Monday to Friday, with comprehensive on-the-job training from a dedicated team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a flexible role that builds key skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, focusing on first-contact resolution using Intercom.
  • Process payments and manage customer transactions using Stripe.
  • Build positive relationships by engaging with customers empathetically to establish supportive payment arrangements.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bring a positive, solutions-focused approach to each customer interaction, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate openly with team members, contributing to a supportive and cooperative team culture.
  • Monitor trends to identify customers needing extra support and proactively share relevant resources.
  • Balance customer care with business goals to meet financial targets while supporting customer well-being.

Who You Are

You bring experience in a customer service or collections role, and you enjoy being the face of your business. Your passion for customer service drives everything you do, and you’re experienced with challenging conversations, always aiming to find effective solutions.
