About The RoleAbout the roleThe Partner Marketing team helps build and scale the growth engine that enables Shopify Partners to bring more Shopify to the world.As the Partner Marketing Sr Lead, EMEA, you will focus specifically on building and executing the Partner Marketing strategy for the region, activating across all types of partners within Shopify’s growing partner ecosystem.This role requires you to be an excellent marketer with the ability to identify and focus on priority high-leverage initiatives. You have a proven track record of building and managing partner marketing campaigns across multiple partner types and channels, with a laser focus on driving impactful commercial outcomes. You enjoy and thrive working in a cross-functional team, and managing multiple stakeholders internally and externally - including C-suite - towards a common goal.If you are a seasoned partner marketer with ideas and a proven track record on deepening relationships with partners to ignite growth, this role is for you.Responsibilities: - Develop cross-channel, strategic plans to market to and through partners in the region. Own the holistic strategy and drive execution across partner plans.
- Own the partner marketing target in region, ensuring the team of regional partner marketers in region are executing against the right strategies & tactics within their portfolio of partners to meet goals
- Manage and a mentor a team of regional partner marketers (3-4) in driving execution against their portfolio of partners
- Ensure partner marketing performance is in line with commercial goals across multiple partner types - consistently looking for new partner portfolio optimizations and partner marketing strategies
- Ensure cohesion across Shopify EMEA marketing programs/campaigns, ultimately elevating Shopify’s brand position in market and generating new leads for both the partner and Shopify
- Manage a portfolio of partners across multiple regions, provide coaching support to the partners to improve marketing outcomes, and routinely assess partner performance relative to commercial goals
- Distill quantitative and qualitative data into audience and market insights that informs strategy, messaging and go-to-market
- Manage a budget and tracking systems to assess the effectiveness of your marketing programs and campaigns
- Quantifying and qualifying new marketing opportunities with partners
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, and Product teams to drive shared commercial objectives
- Produce and deliver presentations to internal and partner audiences
Requirements: - Proven track record in B2B marketing, preferably in partner marketing with experience working across multiple types of partners (ISV, system integrators, resellers, agencies)
- Experience producing and leading successful demand generation and integrated marketing campaigns to reach commercial targets
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders with different opinions to a common outcome
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills while being able to stay focused on the big picture and pay attention to details
- Proven ability to lead and execute on projects that involve alignment and collaboration across disciplines and crafts
- Experience informing and influencing commercial business, and product marketing strategy
- A resourceful attitude that can proactively seek out information to influence action
- Ability to thrive in uncertainty, resolve ambiguity and think quickly on your feet
- Experience working with a global company and are excellent at executing across time zones and cultures
