What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate on AI-driven projects, working alongside engineers, product managers and AI specialists
- Develop and maintain scalable APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
- Integrate with and manage cloud services, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Design, develop and optimise data pipelines
- Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and ensure efficient data management
- Contribute to GenAI initiatives and have the opportunity to build skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively across teams, ensuring alignment on project goals
What We’re Looking For:
- Good understanding of the Python standard library and modern Python coding, testing, debugging and automation techniques
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong experience with API design and frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
- Knowledge of databases such as SQL and NoSQL
- Interest in expanding your knowledge into AI and machine learning
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
Nice to have:
- Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience or knowledge of BigQuery and Cloud SQL
- Knowledge of Machine Learning
