About the job

As a Data Analyst at CORMAC, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and delivering insights to improve business performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to inform strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify trends, correlations, and patterns within data to help drive business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key findings to stakeholders.
  • Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure high-quality analysis.
  • Work with business teams to understand data needs and provide insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data, providing insights on customer behavior, market trends, and business performance.
  • Support the automation of data processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency in data analysis workflows.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership, helping shape business strategies and drive data-driven decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
  • 5+ years of experience in Python
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure environment
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust (Tier 1) Security Clearance
  • Experience in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks
  • Experience in Data Mining, Data Modeling, Data Wrangling, Data Cleaning, and Data Visualization
  • Ability to process large datasets of unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work in an exciting and demanding environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning concepts is a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
