We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Angular Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex web applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performant.
What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark:
- Architect and lead the development of large-scale, complex Angular applications within a monorepo structure.
- Design and implement high-performance, reusable, and maintainable Angular code using best practices and design patterns
- Lead the development and architecture of single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular framework (experience with React or Vue.js a plus)
- Ensure code adheres to OWASP Top 10 security best practices
- Work with UI/UX designers to implement accessible features using ARIA standards and ensure HTML5 compliance
- Optimize for performance and accessibility
- Oversee the setup and management of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Provide expert-level support for production systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain high availability and performance.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive design system and development tools to standardize UI components and streamline the development process.
- Mentor junior developers in Angular best practices and architectural patterns.
- Directly lead a group of 5 developers
Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.
- 5+ years of experience as an Angular Architect and 10+ years of overall experience with a proven track record of building complex web applications
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, including prototype, inheritance, DOM manipulation, closures, asynchronous programming and object-oriented principles
- Familiarity with React or Vue.js is a plus
- Experience with Angular-specific tools and libraries, such as RxJS for reactive programming and NgRx for state management.
- Deep knowledge of web components and their development
- Expert-level understanding of Grid and Flexbox, with strong grasp of CSS technology (like specificity, cascading order, selectors)
- Understanding and familiarity with the web accessibility standards and their levels (A, AA, and AAA)
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 security principles
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks
- Experience with build tools and automation
- Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders
- Experience in deploying and managing large-scale applications on the cloud, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
